His advisory focus lies in the taxation of large family wealth, structuring of business successions and asset holdings, as well as advising family offices. Prof. Dr. Bäuml is co-editor of several major publications, including a comprehensive commentary on the German Income Tax Act (EStG) and the Family Office Handbook, and author of numerous articles. He has also served as an expert for the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag and holds supervisory board mandates in family-owned businesses. Previously, he was a partner at international Big Five consulting firms and Head of Tax at the family office of the Boehringer Ingelheim family business.
