Jens Bernitzky is a native of Hamburg and part of Generation X, with a career marked by versatility and international experience. He began his professional journey with a traditional culinary apprenticeship, followed by around four years on international luxury cruise ships, gaining valuable insights into high-end gastronomy and hospitality.

He then deepened his expertise as a hotel management trainee at a renowned 5-star hotel in Munich. Building on this, he spent eight years as an independent tourism marketing consultant, supporting companies in the industry with their strategic positioning.

For over a decade, Jens Bernitzky has been successfully leading 4- and 5-star hotels as a hotel director, known for modern management and high standards of quality in hospitality. In addition, he is active as a Bavarian ambassador for vocational training, supporting the next generation in the industry. His achievements have been recognized with multiple awards, including being named one of the “Top 50 Hoteliers 2025” by Busche Verlag and receiving Kununu Top Employer honors.
