Annegret Dickhoff has been involved in the issue of climate protection in hospitals since the start of her career in the healthcare sector. As a qualified nurse, she has a practical understanding of the field, which she has worked to make more sustainable in numerous projects in her capacity as a graduate engineer specialising in technical environmental protection and following her postgraduate studies as a training manager. For instance, she led the BUND ‘Energy-Saving Hospital’ quality label and projects such as KLIK – Climate Managers in Clinics and KLIK green. Since the early 2000s, she has been training staff in more than 300 institutions. Since 2023, she has been the sustainability officer at BG Kliniken gGmbH, acting as a key facilitator and catalyst both within the group and across her networks.
