
After completing a dual degree in business administration at Deutsche Post DHL, Thomas Diekamp worked in LEAN project and program management and in performance management. He then moved to Berlin to continue his education in the form of a master's degree in sustainability and quality management. After completing his Master's degree, he was employed by the Federation of German Consumer Organizations, where he was responsible for strategic planning as part of the Executive Board team. He has been running the "climate-friendly care" projects at the AWO since January 2018. He was responsible for the second project as project manager. He is also currently in charge of the Sustainability and Climate working group in the Federal Association of Non-statutory Welfare.
