Dr. Florian Weber has been a Senior Portfolio Manager at Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd. since 2018, where he is responsible for managing several EUR-denominated sovereign and corporate bond funds, as well as the EUR model portfolio for premium clients.

Previously, he spent three years as a Fixed Income Strategist, focusing on interest-rate products across the G4 markets. His responsibilities included government bond yield forecasts, positioning of intra-European sovereign bond spreads, and money market strategies. Prior to that, Florian Weber worked at Credit Suisse in London as a Global Rates Strategist until 2016.

Born in 1982, Florian Weber graduated from the Technical University of Munich with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Technology and Management-Oriented Business Administration. He subsequently earned his doctorate at the same university through a scholarship funded by the German Excellence Initiative.

He is also a CFA® charterholder.
