Benjamin Fehrecke-Harpke is Deputy Team Leader in the General Secretariat of the German Red Cross (DRK e.V.). He coordinates the DRK’s core focus area of elderly care and oversees its strategic objectives: securing the workforce, ensuring service provision, and leveraging the opportunities of digitalization. His main concern is the structural development of long-term care insurance and the safeguarding of health and care services. He studied political science and history in Halle (Saale) and Kraków, as well as social policy in Bremen.
