Julia Finkeissen holds degrees in economics and an Executive MBA from IESE, New York. She is a serial IT entrepreneur and has been involved in a family real estate business since 2004. Julia has a keen interest in contemporary and digital art. Through her company Vioventi Art, she advises both corporations and individuals on issues related to contemporary art, digital art, and art in artificial intelligence and the metaverse.

Julia conducts research on digital innovations as a professor at Hankou University in Wuhan, China. She has authored two books, "Metaverse - NFT, Blockchain, AR, VR: Navigating Safely through Web3", published by Campus Verlag in January 2023, and "Business 5.0: The Practical Guide to Artificial Intelligence in Business", released by the same publisher in 2024, both co-authored with IT and cybersecurity expert Thomas R. Koehler. Her books and consulting work guide companies, especially SMEs and startups, into an increasingly digital business world.

Julia Finkeissen also serves on multiple advisory boards and became a certified board member through the Board Academy in 2023. She frequently shares updates on generative AI and the metaverse on her LinkedIn feed.

She is a mother to seven children, aged 22 to 10, and resides and works at Lake Starnberg, Germany, and in Kitzbuehel, Austria.
