Timo Frank completed his studies in health economics at the University of Bayreuth (M.Sc.) and at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden (B.Sc.), as well as a year abroad at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He is founder and former chairman of the association Hashtag Gesundheit e.V., committed to strengthening the patient perspective in the digitalization of healthcare. He works for the Supply Staff Unit at gematik.
