Prof. Dr. Alexander Golland is Professor of Business Law, particularly Law of Digitalization, at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. His teaching and research focus on German and European data protection law. In addition to his full-time position, he is Of Counsel in the area of “Data Protection & Cybersecurity” at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), editor of the professional journal Datenschutz-Berater, and an external expert of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). Moreover, he is a lecturer for data protection law at FernUni Hagen and the University of Oldenburg, as well as a speaker and author of numerous specialist publications.
