For over 26 years, Thomas Gutberlet served on the executive management of tegut... in various leadership roles depending on the legal form of the company, including Chairman of the Executive Board and Managing Director. During this time, he was responsible for most areas of the company, with a focus on purchasing, finance, IT, marketing, auditing, quality management, and sales.

In the process, he gained extensive experience in managing succession processes and the change from an independent family business to a corporate structure, as well as in communication with the supervisory board, advisory board, owner representatives, and comparable bodies—both in the context of family and foundation as well as corporate settings.
