Jan Hartmann is an investor and advisor.

He has worked 25 years for leading banks in corporate banking, wealth management and investment banking in Germany, New York, London, and Zurich, advising companies and wealthy families. Jan was also a member of the management board of a consulting firm for five years.

In 1999, he co-founded and successfully managed an Internet company (which still exists), selling it to a strategic investor two years later. In 2020, he co-founded an investment firm. The first fund tripled in value and was repaid after eight months. Currently, Jan advises a company which democratizes access to outstanding works of art. He is also shareholder of a leading AI-firm in Germany and Switzerland. He has served as treasurer of several organizations and is a member of the investment committee of Rotary Germany.

Jan holds a Master's degree in Business Management and an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School. He is a CFA and FRM charterholder.
