Anna Heuer is a member of HSMA Deutschland e.V., the leading professional association for all commercial departments in the hotel industry, Sustainability and HR & Employer Branding in Germany. In addition to her work in the association, she studied business law while working.

Anna has her roots on the North Sea island of Norderney, where she spent the first 20 years of her life before moving to Düsseldorf to train at the hotel nikko düsseldorf, now the Clayton Hotel.

The then 22-year-old stayed there for a few years in sales and then moved to the East Frisian hotel chain Upstalsboom, where she was responsible for sales and revenue management in the cluster for eight years.
