Verena Kempe is Head of Investment Management at KENFO and is responsible for both public and private markets. A particular focus of her work lies in building the private markets portfolio as well as in further developing the team and internal processes. Previously, she served as Co-Head of Private Equity at a leading management consultancy.

Trained as an economist and geographer, she began her career at an internationally active state-owned bank, where she most recently worked as a Director in Structured Finance and Global Energy in London.
