Nicola Koch heads the retail and impact investing research programme of the independent and internationally active think tank 2° Investing Initiative (2DII). He combines his previous experience in sustainability consulting and valuation in the real economy with extensive expertise in the field of sustainable finance. One focus of his research is impact investing and the question of how the impact of financial products can be assessed and structurally integrated from regulation to product offering and distribution. Together with his team, he has developed and trialled 2DII's Impact Potential Assessment Framework (IPAF). As a member of the Platform for Sustainable Finance, he is committed to ensuring that the impact potential of sustainable financial products becomes a central topic in the further development of the next EU agenda for sustainable finance.
