Sven Liebert has been Secretary General of the German Tourism Industry Association since December 2022. As the umbrella organization of the tourism industry, the association represents the entire tourism value chain, from transport providers to hospitality and gastronomy, as well as tour operators and travel agencies.

Until November 2022, Sven Liebert served as Head of Public Policy Germany, leading the Berlin corporate representation and national public affairs activities of METRO AG. He also worked on the digitalization of the public sector at the consulting firm PwC. He studied business administration, economics, and political science in Friedrichshafen and in the United States.
