Markus Linnemann has been with secunet Security Networks AG since June 2011 and has been Head of the eHealth division since 2020. Prior to that, he headed the Critical Infrastructures division from 2015 to 2019, which also included the eHealth division. In his first years at secunet, he was responsible for projects and topics in the "Public" area as Principal and was Product Manager for secunet safe surfer, awareness and penetration tests. He moved to secunet from the Institute for Internet Security at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, where he was Managing Director between July 2008 and June 2011. He focussed on the topics of trusted computing, identity management and awareness. As early as 2005, he began giving dynamic awareness-raising presentations and established live hacking events, which are now held for many public and private sector clients.
