
Since 1 July 2020, Katja Lohmann has served as Managing Director of PFLEGEN & WOHNEN HAMBURG GmbH.
Her professional career began more than 30 years ago in the international hospitality industry. After moving into the medical technology sector, she took on senior leadership roles in sales and marketing. Alongside her professional career, she earned a Diploma in Business Administration from Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
In 2013, she transitioned into elderly care—a field she has been passionate about ever since. She qualified as a Residential Care Manager (E.D.E. Certificate), expanded her expertise by completing a university certificate in Gerontology at the European Distance Learning University Hamburg (Euro-FH), and subsequently held a range of senior management and executive positions in residential elderly care.
Since 2022, Katja Lohmann has also been a certified LINC Personality Profiler. She applies this expertise to foster modern leadership cultures, strengthen team development, and support organizational change processes.
Thanks to her extensive experience, she has developed in-depth expertise across all areas of elderly care services. She considers professional exchange at both national and international levels to be an essential source of inspiration for identifying, adapting, and advancing innovative care and organizational models.
