Max is virtually a child of the hospitality and gastronomy industry. After completing a hotel apprenticeship, he initially worked in international luxury hospitality and fine dining. He held management roles for Relais & Châteaux in restaurant operations in Ireland and the United States and later worked as a sommelier in the Caribbean.

After earning a degree in business administration, he went on to build the hotel and real estate advisory practice at KPMG in Frankfurt, followed by taking responsibility for B&B HOTELS in Central and Northern Europe. He also completed studies in real estate economics at EBS University in the Rheingau and entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School.

He has now returned to his roots. Gastronomy is not only his passion, inclusion is also a very important topic for him due to his family background. In addition, Max is active as an advisory board or supervisory board member across various industries and companies.
