Sophia Neisinger is an assistant doctor for dermatology and allergology at the Institute for Allergy Research at Charité in Berlin. She specialises in mast cell-mediated diseases and digital health. In addition to her work as a doctor and scientist, she is the co-founder of a digital health start-up (HelloProfessor) and a passionate mentor for aspiring companies in this field. Her entrepreneurial career began in Cuba, where she developed and successfully implemented the idea for a superfood start-up. In 2022, she was honoured by Business Insider as a Future Maker. Sophia Neisinger is constantly looking for new ways to put her research findings into practice and thus improve the lives of patients. One outstanding example of this is the globally available CRUSE (Chronic Urticaria Self Evaluation) app for hives patients, a product she co-developed.
