Dr. Anne Sophie Platzbecker is an internist, hematologist, and oncologist, as well as Head of Medical Innovation and Transformation at the Medical University of Lusatia – Carl Thiem. In parallel, she is a Senior Postdoc at the Digital Health Cluster at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam and a Research Fellow at the Else Kröner Fresenius Center for Digital Health in Dresden. Previously, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the ARC Innovation Center of Sheba Medical Center in Israel and earned an MBA in Healthcare Innovation at Reichman University. Her focus lies on hospital-at-home, hybrid care, and the digital transformation of healthcare delivery.
