Thomas Renner has been Head of the "Innovation and Digitalization" department at the Federal Ministry of Health since June 2019.
Prior to this, he worked for several years as head of the "General Aspects of Health Policy, Financing and Statistics" unit at the same ministry.
Before joining the Federal Ministry of Health, Thomas Renner worked at the International Labor Organization in Geneva.
From 2000 to 2002, he worked at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Thomas Renner has a degree in economics and studied at the University of Regensburg and the University of Bonn.
