Sascha Saßen is Managing Director of the Berlin-based hesena Group. A registered nurse and graduate in Nursing Management (Diplom-Pflegewirt, University of Applied Sciences), he combines hands-on clinical experience with extensive expertise in business administration and healthcare management.

Prior to joining hesena, he served for seven years as Chief Quality Officer at Korian Germany. Recognized as an expert in digital transformation, quality management, and risk management in long-term care, Saßen is also a lecturer at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf and a board member of the North Rhine-Westphalia chapter of the German Association of Private Providers of Social Services (bpa e.V. NRW).

He is a frequent keynote speaker and lecturer at industry conferences and regularly publishes articles on current challenges and innovations in the care sector.
