Michael Schmidt is a supervisory board member of the asset management companies LAIQON AG (formerly Lloyd Fonds) in Germany and Anthos Fund & Asset Management B.V. in the Netherlands.

He serves as an honorary member of the German Federal Government’s Sustainable Finance Advisory Council, the board of the DVFA, the Sustainability Advisory Council of the DHL Group, and the DIN Standards Committee on Finance. In previous positions, he was a member of the management board of Lloyd Fonds AG, part of the management teams at Deka Investment and Union Investment, and held specialist and leadership roles in portfolio management at Deutsche Bank’s asset management division. He was also a member of the EU Commission’s High Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (“HLEG”).
