Dr. Burkhard Siebert was born on December 26, 1970, in Kassel.

After studying law in Göttingen, Dr. Siebert earned his doctorate at the Institute for Commercial and Corporate Law at the University of Osnabrück and subsequently completed his legal traineeship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court. He then worked as a lawyer in Berlin. Since 2001, Dr. Siebert has served as Managing Director of the Construction Industry Association of Hesse-Thuringia (Bauindustrieverband Hessen-Thüringen e.V.). He assumed the role of Chief Executive of the association on January 1, 2013.

In addition, Dr. Siebert serves on the board of the Construction Training Institute of Hesse-Thuringia (Bildungswerk Bau Hessen-Thüringen e.V.), is Chairman of the German Society for Construction Law (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Baurecht e.V.), and acts as Managing Director of DigiBau Portal GmbH.

Dr. Siebert represents the construction industry on the board of the Association for the Pre-qualification of Construction Companies (Verein für die Präqualifikation von Bauunternehmen). He has also been elected to the advisory board of the Construction Industry’s Holiday and Wage Compensation Fund (Urlaubs- und Lohnausgleichskasse der Bauwirtschaft) and serves as Chairman of the BIM Cluster Hesse (BIM-Cluster Hessen e.V.).
