Dr. med. Philipp Stachwitz has been Head of the Digitalization Staff Department at the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) since 2024, is a specialist in anesthesiology, and has been working in outpatient pain therapy since 2015. He studied human medicine in Frankfurt/Main and Cologne. From 2002 to 2008, he was a consultant and deputy head of the telematics department at the German Medical Association. Subsequently, alongside his clinical and outpatient work, he provided consulting services, among others, to gematik, the Medical Service of the German Armed Forces, healthcare IT companies, and start-ups. From 2019 to 2021, he was Director of Medical Care at the Health Innovation Hub (hih) of the Federal Ministry of Health, and from 2022 to early 2024, he was an expert in digital medicine at the German Society of Internal Medicine (DGIM).
