Christian Stein-Kalesky (43) has been Head of People & Culture Europe at the tristar hotel group for seven years. In just six years, tristar opened 38 new hotels, an achievement that has been unprecedented in the hotel industry. Today, the group employs 1,300 people. Christian began his career as a trained restaurant specialist and held various positions in chain and luxury hotels, starting as a Sales Manager and later becoming a General Manager. Previously, he worked at Apple in Switzerland as a Senior People Manager but later returned to the hotel industry. The tristar group has been recognized several times by different organizations as the best employer in the German hotel industry.
