After studying industrial engineering with a specialization in civil engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and in Madrid, Sven Tešanović spent 15 years working on the preparation and implementation of transport infrastructure projects based on the public-private partnership (PPP) model—both on the private and the public side—and for many years was responsible as project manager for the awarding and realization of major highway projects.

At Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG, since 2023 he has been working as Segment Manager IPA—including as a member of the Strategic Management Team (SMT) in two IPA pilot projects of Deutsche Bahn (New Plant Cottbus, ABS Gäubahn, North Section (including Pfaffensteig Tunnel))—to ensure the successful implementation and further development of the alliance model.
