Dr. Georg Trauner studied civil engineering at TU Wien. In 2019, he received his doctorate at the Institute of Concrete Structures under Professor Johann Kollegger, also at TU Wien, in the field of numerical simulation of reinforced concrete structures. His career began as a structural engineer at the PORR Group. There, he consistently stood out for his ideas and inventiveness, which ultimately led to his appointment to the innovation department of PORR. In 2020, he moved to the HABAU GROUP, where he heads the “Research and Development” department. The focus of his work is on the development of sustainable building structures. His passion lies particularly in complex high-rise construction.
