
Eva Turk, PhD, MBA is a Senior Researcher and Programme Lead at the Center for Digital Health and Social Innovation (UAS St. Pölten), specializing in Inclusive Digital Community Health. With extensive experience in health technology assessment (HTA), digital health, person-centred care and quality of care, she has contributed significantly to various international health initiatives. She also serves in the Minister's Office in Slovenia, covering topic such as HTA, VBHC and health literacy, and is a board member of HTA International. Eva has held academic roles at the University of Maribor and the University of South-Eastern Norway, teaching courses on health policy, HTA, patient safety and digital health. As the Founder and Chair of the SanAstra Foundation, she advocates for health innovations that empower communities. Her work with the Norwegian Red Cross as a Public Health Delegate highlights her commitment to global health, particularly in emergency response settings. Eva's leadership roles in organizations like Women in Global Health, EHMA and HTAi demonstrate her dedication to advancing health equity and innovation across Europe and beyond.
She holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and a PhD in Health Sciences. Originally from Slovenia, she has studied, lived and worked in Austria, Japan, Finland, Spain, Argentina, Syria and Norway.
