Long-standing health policy expert at federal and state level. His professional career has included roles, among others, in the German Bundestag, at the AOK Federal Association, in federal–state coordination and political planning at the Federal Ministry of Health, in the State Chancellery of Brandenburg, as State Secretary for Health in Berlin, as Head of the project “Health City Berlin 2030” for the Governing Mayor of Berlin, and until 2025 as Ministerial Director and Head of the Executive Office at the Federal Ministry of Health.
