Dr. Moritz Völker is an emergency physician at Herdecke Community Hospital and chairman of the young doctors in the Hartmannbund. After training as a paramedic, he completed his studies at the University of Witten/Herdecke. During this time, he published his first book "Heal Your Hospital" for a change of perspective and new ways of providing healthcare. After his studies, he started working in anesthesia and emergency medicine in hospitals in the Ruhr area and published the book "Purpose!" as co-author. His political focus is on planetary health, the concerns of young doctors and the overall systemic challenges of the healthcare system.
