André Wiersig (born 1972) is a German extreme swimmer, UN Ocean Ambassador, and ambassador for the protection of the oceans. As the first German, he completed the notorious Oceans Seven, seven of the world’s toughest ocean crossings, swimming without a wetsuit and often at night. In addition to his athletic achievements, he is committed to ocean conservation through his initiative “theBlueHeart” and inspires companies, organizations, and decision makers as a sought-after speaker with powerful impulses on resilience, responsibility, leadership, and sustainability.
