Professor of Health Economics at Kozminski University, Warsaw, and founder of ISPOR’s Digital Health Special Interest Group, Katarzyna Kolasa is a leading expert in health economics and digital health transformation. With over 25 years of international experience across academia, industry, and policy, she has held senior roles at AstraZeneca, BMS, Biogen, Lundbeck, GE Healthcare, BD, and Parexel. She has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and the book The Digital Transformation of the Healthcare System (Routledge, 2023). Dr. Kolasa founded Poland’s first Master’s program in Big Data and Health Economics and the first national Digital Health Education Program for healthcare leaders. Her recent research explores AI in healthcare, machine learning validation, and data-driven value assessment. A frequent advisor to policymakers, she has organized national dialogues and conferences on AI and digital innovation, advancing evidence-based, patient-centered digital health across Europe.
